ACE Family Research are passionate about ancestry and discovering the people who make us who we are.
Based in Glasgow, we specialise specifically in Scottish ancestry but also cover the rest of the UK and Ireland. We have a wealth of local as well as national knowledge and aim to give clients as much detail into the lives of their ancestors as records will allow.
This includes the areas in which they lived, occupations and what that meant day to day for them. We love to uncover secrets and rumours for our clients as well as prove or disprove family legends where possible. Our packages are bespoke to each individual client, their aims and budgets.
Research Director
Alix has an MA in Politics from the University of Glasgow, as well as studying history, specialising in Scottish political and social history. She has a background working in research and has been researching within the genealogy field for a number of years. She lives just north of Glasgow with her husband and two children.
